The Gwinnett Braves, in conjunction with the Atlanta Braves have announced the first-ever "Braves All-Stars vs. Futures Stars Game" at Coolray Field. The match-up, pitting the Braves' Major Leaguers against the prospects of the system, takes place on Tuesday, April 3 at 7:05 PM.

Four local university baseball teams will clash in a six-game tournament as the 2012 Southern Classic comes to Coolray Field from Friday, February 17 through Sunday, February 19. Piedmont College, Oglethorpe University, Emory University and LaGrange College will each play one another during the round-robin tournament, and fans can attend for $10 per day, $25 for the weekend.
The Gwinnett Braves have introduced a new community initiative for the 2012 season aimed at helping local organizations raise awareness and funds for their causes. The Non-Profit Partnership Series, an all-inclusive program that allows multiple organizations who volunteer for a common cause to rally together, will debut this April and run through August.
