41
Curtis Granderson, OF, Tigers (31)
2005 stats: [AAA] .293 BA/ .363 OBP/ .524 SLG [DET] .318 BA/ .348 OBP/ .773 SLG
2005 Club: Toledo/Detroit ETA in Majors: 2005 Preseason Rank: 50
Granderson continues to quietly get it done in his first season of Triple-A. At least the Tigers noticed; Granderson played very well in a six-game callup in July.

42
Ryan Garko, C/1B, Indians (29)
2005 stats: .296 BA/ .372 OBP/ .491 SLG
2005 Club: Buffalo (Triple-A) ETA in Majors: 2006 Preseason Rank: --
This guy was just born to hit; Garko keeps improving each month in Buffalo. Look for him at a big league park near you by September.

43
Joel Zumaya, RHP, Tigers (27)
2005 stats: 9-5, 2.94 ERA, 134.2 IP, 91 H, 69 BB, 177 K
2005 Club: Erie/Toledo ETA in Majors: 2006 Preseason Rank: --
He's 20, he leads the Minor Leagues in strikeouts, he pitched in the Futures Game and seems to have no problem with Triple-A (.208 batting average against). Need I say more?

44
Anthony Reyes, RHP, Cardinals (27)
2005 stats: 8-4, 3.41 ERA, 111 IP, 90 H, 29 BB, 111 K
2005 Club: Memphis/St. Louis ETA in Majors: 2005 Preseason Rank: --
Reyes' strong season in Triple-A was rewarded with a one-start trip (and win) to the Majors.

45
Gavin Floyd, RHP, Phillies (25)
2005 stats: 6-8, 13.04 ERA, 129 IP, 144 H, 66 BB, 86 K
2005 Club: Philadelphia/Scranton ETA in Majors: 2006 Preseason Rank: 14
Scouts still like his stuff -- and he's still only 22 -- but the results have been confounding. He was much better in July, though, and can salvage the season with a strong finish.

46
Brian Dopirak, 1B, Cubs (24)
2005 stats: .245 BA/ .301 OBP/ .387 SLG
2005 Club: Daytona (A Advanced) ETA in Majors: 2007 Preseason Rank: 40
It's been an up-and-down season for the slugging first baseman, with his power taking an FSL hit as he struggles late in the year.

47
Chris Nelson, SS, Rockies (24)
2005 stats: .256 BA/ .314 OBP/ .361 SLG
2005 Club: Asheville (A) ETA in Majors: 2008 Preseason Rank: 26
Nelson seems to be coming on strong after missing most of the first two months of his first full season due to injury.

48
James Loney, 1B, Dodgers (23)
2005 stats: .288 BA/ .365 OBP/ .410 SLG
2005 Club: Jacksonville (Double-A) ETA in Majors: 2006 Preseason Rank: --
After a slow start, the 21-year-old has hit over .300 in the past three months.

49
Fausto Carmona, RHP, Indians (21)
2005 stats: 10-7, 3.52 ERA, 145.2 IP, 145 H, 26 BB, 95 K
2005 Club: Akron/Buffalo ETA in Majors: 2006 Preseason Rank: --
He's carved up International League hitters over eight starts (.220 batting average against) since being promoted and he won't turn 22 until December.

50
Ryan Harvey, OF, Cubs (20)
2005 stats: .272 BA/ .321 OBP/ .517 SLG
2005 Club: Peoria (A) ETA in Majors: 2006 Preseason Rank: --
The 2003 first-rounder continues to grow into his power, leading the Midwest League with 21 homers and 86 RBIs in his first look at full-season ball.
