Profar had his 50-game on-base streak snapped, but Olt recorded his third straight two-homer game Sunday as the RoughRiders were beaten by the visiting Northwest Arkansas Naturals, 10-3.
The Rangers' top prospect, Profar went 0-for-4 against a pair of Naturals pitchers. He grounded out in the first inning and struck out leading off the fourth against starter Michael Mariot.
Facing reliever Ryan Dennick, the 19-year-old shortstop flied out in the sixth and struck out again to end the eighth. Frisco scored a run and had the bases loaded in the ninth, but Chris McGuiness was thrown out trying to score on Jose Felix's fly ball to end the game.
Profar batted .302 (61-for-202) and had a .370 on-base percentage during the streak. Overall, he's hitting .286 with six homers, 24 RBIs and seven stolen bases in 53 games.
Olt, meanwhile, continued his weeklong tear. MLB.com's No. 37 overall prospect drilled a one-out solo shot in the fourth inning and went deep again leading off the ninth. He leads active Texas Leaguers in all three Triple Crown categories with 17 homers, 45 RBIs and a .318 batting average.
In his last five games, the 23-year-old corner infielder is 12-for-19 with six homers, 11 RBIs and nine runs scored.
"It's been a learning experience," Olt said Friday, referring to his first season of Double-A ball. "The veteran guys have helped me out with the little things of baseball. A big part of baseball is the mental aspect, and it's a big part of what I'm learning."
